Absolutely not. My classes focus on the training skills rather than shooting. Many owners simply enjoy gundog training as a fun activity that builds excellent life skills and strengthens the relationship with their dog. to progress with confidence.

Can puppies take part?
Yes. Puppies begin with foundation skills, confidence building and games that prepare them for more advanced training as they mature. Sessions are always appropriate for your puppy’s age and stage of development.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring plenty of tasty training treats, a mixture of high, medium and low value rewards, a flat collar or harness, a non retractable lead and a favourite toy if your dog enjoys playing with one.
Will gundog training help with everyday life?
Yes. Many of the skills taught through gundog training transfer directly into everyday life. Better recall, improved focus, calmness around distractions, patience and self control all help make your dog easier and more enjoyable to live with.
